Speed up your workflow by assigning global hotkeys to your favorite profiles.

Assigning a Hotkey

1. Open the Launchas main window.
2. Select the profile you want to automate.
3. Locate the Hotkey recorder field.
4. Click inside the field and press the key combination you wish to use (e.g., Cmd + Opt + 1).

How it Works

When you press the assigned hotkey, Launchas will instantly:

1. Identify all open windows managed by that profile.
2. Resize and move them to their saved positions.
3. Bring the primary windows to the front if specified.

Tips for Better Shortcuts

• Avoid Conflicts: Use a combination of modifier keys (Cmd, Opt, Ctrl, Shift) to avoid interfering with standard macOS shortcuts.
• Mnemonics: Use numbers or letters that remind you of the task (e.g., Cmd + Opt + C for Coding).
• Pro Tip: You can also use hotkeys to quickly “Capture” the current layout if you have a “Draft” profile set up.
