Speed up your workflow by assigning global hotkeys to your favorite profiles.
Assigning a Hotkey
Section titled “Assigning a Hotkey”- Open the Launchas main window.
- Select the profile you want to automate.
- Locate the Hotkey recorder field.
- Click inside the field and press the key combination you wish to use (e.g.,
Cmd + Opt + 1).
How it Works
Section titled “How it Works”When you press the assigned hotkey, Launchas will instantly:
- Identify all open windows managed by that profile.
- Resize and move them to their saved positions.
- Bring the primary windows to the front if specified.
Tips for Better Shortcuts
Section titled “Tips for Better Shortcuts”- Avoid Conflicts: Use a combination of modifier keys (Cmd, Opt, Ctrl, Shift) to avoid interfering with standard macOS shortcuts.
- Mnemonics: Use numbers or letters that remind you of the task (e.g.,
Cmd + Opt + Cfor Coding). - Pro Tip: You can also use hotkeys to quickly “Capture” the current layout if you have a “Draft” profile set up.
